DUXBURY — A field of 140 golfers joined other Council on Aging club members at the Duxbury Senior Center’s golf tournament and fundraiser, which was held at the Duxbury Yatch Club golf course. The live auction with emcee Jim Fagan and the awards ceremonies for a crowd of 200 for a post-golf celebration raised money for the COA’s fuel assistance program for seniors, according to Executive Director Joanna Moore.

Along with a beautiful day of golf long time Duxbury resident Jack Hamilton who coincidentally, was celebrating his 88th birthday, was recognized for his many years of dedication to Duxbury COA.
