New England Wildlife Center celebrates 40 years

QUINCY — 300 guests attended the New England Wildlife Center event that marked the organization’s 40th anniversary. NEWC is a Weymouth-based non-profit that helps animals in need and teaches people how to help care of their natural environment. Duxbury Council on Aging holds fundraiser

DUXBURY — This week’s beautiful weather only added to the success of the Duxbury Council on Aging fundraiser that started with golf at the Duxbury Yacht Club and ended with a raw bar and a live auction at the Duxbury Senior Center. Duxbury’s own Jim Fagan helped the COA raise several thousand dollars in the live auction. The money raised by the nearly 200 guests in attendance will support the fuel assistance program for seniors this winter.…
