HINGHAM — More than 700 guests attended the 25th annual FoodFest benefit for Father Bill’s and MainSpring at the Hingham Shipyard. The event, held on July 30, 2019, featured dishes from South Shore restaurants and raised more than $350,000 to help fight homelessness in the area — including the construction of 10 houses in Randolph for homeless veterans. FANEUIL HALL MARKETPLACE — More than 350 guests attended the 6th annual Taste of Ethnic Boston hosted by Get Konnected!, a networking event group for urban professionals. The tasting event was held on Tuesday, July 30, 2019 at Ned Devine’s at the Faneuil Hall Marketplace. UPDATED/ BOSTON — A Suffolk County deputy sheriff has been released from the hospital after suffering injuries following a reported attack this morning near the Suffolk County jail, investigative journalist Michele McPhee reports. BOSTON — We are posting some of Bill Brett’s photos from the Concussion Legacy Foundation’s gala at which former NFL star and former New England Patriot Nick Buoniconti was honored. The event was held in Boston in October 2018 and Buoniconti died on July 30,2019. He was an outspoken proponent of medical research focusing on the effects of playing football.
