DORCHESTER — 300 guests attended the “Laughter Heals” comedy night fundraiser to support the work of the Maura Wilkins Foundation. The event was held on Nov. 7, 2024 at Florian Hall in Dorchester. BOSTON — 700 guests attended the The Ireland Funds 43rd Boston gala, which took place on Nov. 4 at the Westin Copley Place hotel, honored board member and long-standing supporter, State Street’s Chairman and CEO Ron O’Hanley, with the Distinguished Leadership Award. FENWAY — A sold out crowd of 1,800 packed the House of Blues to hear country star Jake Owen rock out with Austin Williams as opener for the annual CoreyFest, which raises money for the Corey C. Griffin Foundation. In the 10 years since its founding, the Foundation has raised $40 million to support Boston charities that help the city’s youth.
