COLUMBIA POINT — More than 350 people were on hand at the John F. Kennedy Presidential Library for the as Special Olympics Massachusetts held its 2024 Hall of Fame induction ceremony.

As part of the event, state Representative Sean Garballey of Arlington received the Jack Brett Award for his work on behalf of those with intellectual and developmental disabilities. The late Jack Brett was the oldest of the Brett children and the family’s inspiration for its life-long commitment to this community. Jim Brett, who himself is a champion of Special Olympics, presented the award.
