More than 3,000 participate in the Run for Charlotte to raise money to assist families facing pediatric cancer
BRAINTREE — More than 3,000 people took part in the annual Run for Charlotte, which raises money to provide financial assistance to families facing pediatric cancers. The participants did either a 10K or 5K run, or a 5K walk in Braintree. The race is named for Charlotte Kelly, who was 5 years old when she died in 2011 from neuroblastoma, a rare and aggressive cancer that primarily strikes children and infants.
