QUINCY — More than 150 guests attended Norwich University’s golf tournament, held in memory of Paul Ricker (Class of 1979) and Mike Crimmins (Class of 1980). The tournament and fundraising event was held at Granite Links in Quincy. Norwich president Mark Anarumo was in attendance along with university vice president Elizabeth Kennedy. A large crowd turned out on Sunday for a dedication of the Scituate Easter Rising monument, the only such monument in the United States. On hand for the dedication were Irish Consul General Laoise Moore; monument committee chair, attorney John Sullivan; singer Máirín Uí Chéide Keady; Scituate Select Board chair Karen B. HINGHAM — More than 100 people turned out in front of Hingham Town Hall on July 28, 2020 to show their support for the “thin blue line” flag that has been flying on the Higham fire truck since 2018.
