Hingham — More than 3,000 Hingham voters packed Hingham High School the other day with some 1,800 voting to authorize the town’s Board of Selectmen to purchase the town’s municipal water system, which was operated by Aquarion, a privately operated subsidiary of Eversource. HULL — More than 200 guests attended The Hingham Education Foundation’s annual spring fundraiser, “Mardi Gras Madness,” which was held at the newly renovated Paragon Boardwalk in Hull on Friday, March 29, 2019. Live music was provided by the local band Nectar, authentic New Orleans cuisine by Revelry and guests enjoyed a March Madness twist with a basketball shoot-off and skeeball competition in the arcade room. HINGHAM — More than 500 proud family members, friends and guests attended Hingham’s All-Town Chorus concert, which was held on February 6, 2019 at the Hingham Middle School. Christopher Landis is the director of the middle school choral program and Joseph Young leads the high school choral efforts. The accompanists for the concert were Mark Goodman and Derelyn Kahler. HULL — Hundreds lined the shore as dozens took part in the Drowned Hogs’ 24th annual Groundhog Day polar swim which was held on February 2, 2019 at Nantasket Beach in Hull. The money raised will support Wellspring Multi-Service Center. All photos by Bill Brett
