Squantum Street at Parke Avenue to dedicate the square in the memory of Lance Corporal Christopher Donahue (USMC), who was killed in action on May 19, 1969 in Da Nang, Vietnam. COLUMBIA POINT — 450 guests attended the Catholic Charities Spring Celebration that honored College of the Holy Cross President Vincent D. Rougreau with the John and Virginia Kaneb Justice and Compassion Award. The event, which was held at the John F. Kennedy Library and Museum in Dorchester’s Columbia Point, was hosted by Cardinal Sean O’Malley with Catholic Charities board Chair Mark Kerwin. Father John Unni was the guest speaker. QUINCY — Big hats, bow ties, and bourbon was the fundraising theme at the Quincy Rotary’s Kentucky Derby party. The sold-out fundraiser was held at the Neighborhood Club in Quincy. Money raised is directed back to the local community to support educational scholarships to Quincy’s high school seniors.
