BOSTON — 300 guests attended The Friends of the Public Garden’s Green and White Ball, which raised $625,000 for the care of the Boston Common, Public Garden and Commonwealth Mall. BRAINTREE — More than 3,000 people took part in the annual Run for Charlotte, which raises money to provide financial assistance to families facing pediatric cancers. The participants did either a 10K or 5K run, or a 5K walk in Braintree.
