PARK SQUARE — More than 350 guests attended the Whittier Street Health Center’s Roast of David Long, executive chairman of the board, Liberty Mutual Insurance. A benefit to the Roxbury-based health center, the roast was done by Joseph Nolan, Frank Doyle, Timothy Sweeney, and Steve Long. SOUTH BOSTON — More than 200 guests attended the Matt Brown Foundation fundraiser, which was held at the Castle Island Brewery in South Boston. Matt started the foundation after he suffered a spinal cord injury when he was 15 years old while playing in a hockey game for Norwood against Weymouth. Matt later attended Stonehill College.
