WEYMOUTH — The Unity Drama Club will present a final performance of “Disney With a Twist” tonight, Aug. 9, 2019, at the Abigail Adams Middle School in Weymouth. SOUTH BOSTON — More than 350 guests attended the Corey C. Griffin Foundation’s Summer Cocktail Party that was held on August 5, 2019 at Coppersmith. The late Corey Griffin played hockey in college and he worked with a number of hockey players in raising money for charity. HINGHAM — More than 700 guests attended the 25th annual FoodFest benefit for Father Bill’s and MainSpring at the Hingham Shipyard. The event, held on July 30, 2019, featured dishes from South Shore restaurants and raised more than $350,000 to help fight homelessness in the area — including the construction of 10 houses in Randolph for homeless veterans. FANEUIL HALL MARKETPLACE — More than 350 guests attended the 6th annual Taste of Ethnic Boston hosted by Get Konnected!, a networking event group for urban professionals. The tasting event was held on Tuesday, July 30, 2019 at Ned Devine’s at the Faneuil Hall Marketplace.
