HULL — While out for a walk on Saturday, Bill took these images of a some people out on the water off of Nantasket Beach. MARSHFIELD — 500 guests attended a (modified) Corey Fest, which raised more than $800,000 for the Corey C. Griffin Foundation to support youth and service charities. To keep within state Covid-19 guidelines and to ensure safety of guests, Corey Fest was held at the Marshfield Drive-In with event goers staying in their cars. Bill Brett caught up with members of the Boston Symphony Orchestra as they toured Boston in a Duck Boat to give some “pop-up” concerts on Thursday. Seven musicians played the impromptu concerts at four locations including Copley Square, Roxbury, and Jamaica Plain. The Boston Globe’s Jeremy Eichler has a full story, which you can read here.
