BACK BAY — Boston College president Father William Leahy was honored at the Catholic Extension’s inaugural award dinner at the Mandarin Oriental Hotel on March 20, 2018. DORCHESTER — More than 200 guests gathered for the 12th annual St. Patrick’s Day breakfast and raised more than $100,000 to support the Mary Ann Brett Food Pantry. The breakfast, hosted by the Brett family, is held in the church hall of St. Teresa’s of Calcutta church. The breakfast also is the induction ceremony into the Dorchester Hall of Fame. COPLEY SQUARE — 300 guests attended the 10th annual gala at the Fairmont Copley Plaza hotel to celebrate the 60th anniversary of Bridgewell, a Peabody, Mass.-based non-profit that works with people who have intellectual or physical disabilities and other challenges to achieve and enjoy their highest quality of life and personal growth.
