FENWAY — 1,000 guests attended the Big Brothers Big Sisters of Eastern Massachusetts annual fundraising event “Big Night: Washed Ashore,” which was held on February 8, 2020 at the House of Blues on Lansdowne Street. FENWAY — 450 guests attended the Big Sister Association of Greater Boston’s annual gala, Big in Boston, which was held at the Museum of Fine Arts. Big Sisters provides mentors to girls in the Boston area. The organization gave its Believe in Girls award to C Space chairwoman Diane Hessan. HARWICH — The 5th annual Big 3 Fishing Tournament raised more than $385,000 for Big Brothers Big Sisters of Cape Cod & the Islands. More than 300 people were in attended the July 13 event with some 43 boats participating. Sam Jaxtimer on “Thresher” caught the largest fish, a 261-pound tuna.
