DOWNTOWN BOSTON — Some 2,000 guests turned out for the fourth Boston installment of Le Dîner en Blanc, a dinner tradition in Paris that now is held in more than 70 cities worldwide.
The dinner and dance gatherings are held at locations that are secret to the attendees, who attend dressed entirely in white, until just prior to the dinner’s scheduled start on the Rose Kennedy Greenway. Previous Boston gatherings were held at City Hall Plaza, outside the Children’s Museum on the HarborWalk, and at the Moakley Federal Courthouse, just blocks away from Saturday night’s dinner.
According to the founding organization’s website: “Each event is headed by passionate local organizers who fell in love with the concept and who wanted to bring it to their city, adding their own local flair while respecting the event’s core values.” Boston’s dinner was chaired by Anna Berezina, Kelly Early and Samantha Kanter.
