BOSTON — We are posting some of Bill Brett’s photos from the Concussion Legacy Foundation’s gala at which former NFL star and former New England Patriot Nick Buoniconti was honored. The event was held in Boston in October 2018 and Buoniconti died on July 30,2019. He was an outspoken proponent of medical research focusing on the effects of playing football. NANTUCKET — 200 guests attended The Ireland Funds’ 2019 Nantucket Celebration that honored journalist Maureen Orth. BRAINTREE — More than 400 people attended the 2019 BeanStock Festival, hosted by the Sun Will Rise Foundation, to raise money to support those with substance abuse disorder. The concert and day of events took place on Saturday, July 20, 2019, at French’s Common in Braintree, MA.
