DORCHESTER — Hundreds of well-wishers and mourners lined the streets of Dorchester near St. Ann’s church in Neponset for a touching farewell to Jimmy Hayes, a local native and former pro hockey player who died unexpectedly recently. BOSTON — The Brain Aneurysm Foundation held its second annual Champion Awards event at the UMass Club in downtown Boston. Among those on hand for the event were Gov. Charlie Baker, former state Highway Administrator Tom Tinlin, who is a brain aneurysm survivor, and Bruins player Kevan Miller, who is serving as an ambassador for the Foundation.
