HINGHAM — More than 150 guests turned out to celebrate Dr. Waldo Lewis Fielding’s 100th birthday, which was held at Linden Ponds in Hingham. The event included a party and dinner and was hosted by Dr. Fielding’s wife, Anita, and family. Dr. Fielding lived in Brookline before moving to Linden Ponds. All photos by Bill Brett

QUINCY — More than 150 guests attended Norwich University’s golf tournament, held in memory of Paul Ricker (Class of 1979) and Mike Crimmins (Class of 1980). The tournament and fundraising event was held at Granite Links in Quincy. Norwich president Mark Anarumo was in attendance along with university vice president Elizabeth Kennedy. QUINCY — More than 100 guests turned out to celebrate baker extraordinaire and all around good guy George Montilio at Alba’s Restaurant in Quincy. The spectacular eatery was rocking to 1970’s music on Sunday evening for the surprise 70th birthday party, which was hosted by George’s wife, Christine, and daughters, Jenna and Elissa. With camera ever at the ready, Bill captured that magical moment when a young man, Ted Keith, originally from Acton, presented a gorgeous ring to Catherine Rea of Chestnut Hill.
