SOUTH BOSTON — 800 guests attended the Urban League of Eastern Massachusetts’ Centennial Gala on Thursday, September 26, 2019 at the Boston Convention and Exhibition Center. Darnell Williams, the League’s president and CEO, welcomed the guests who celebrated the League’s mission of helping people “overcome racial, social barriers, economic inequities, sexual and domestic violence to employment and economic development opportunities.”
