They tell cancer off in fundraiser for Pan-Mass Challenge

MARSHFIELD — More than 250 guests attended a fundraiser to support the Pan-Mass Challenge and the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, which was held at Levitate in Marshfield on Saturday night.

The event, now in its fifth year, is called Funk You Cancer.

Event organizer Anthony Habayeb kicked of the event by thanking everyone for their support and welcomed everyone on behalf of the organizing committee which is made up of the Chin, Habayeb, Kaufman, Mazin, Panio and Vicidomini families. All of the bartenders and wait staff donated their time and salary to Dana Farber. The entertainment was provided by the band, the Main Squeeze, which flew in from Los Angeles to perform for the standing room only crowd. flew in from LA and wowed the standing room only crowd.

Habayeb said that the event raised more than $100,000, which brings the total donations for the Funk You Cancer more than $500,000.
