SOUTH BOSTON — More than 250 guests attended the Catholic Charities Labouré Center’s 38th annual Spring Reception, which was held at the Exchange Conference Center. The guest of honor was Ken Casey of the Dropkick Murphys and the Claddagh Fund, which were awarded the Labouré Center Jack Shaughnessy Service Award. SOUTH BOSTON — The Brain Aneurysm Foundation, the leading nonprofit supporting research in brain aneurysms and helping those affected by the condition, was (finally) able to hold the 20th annual Arterial Challenge, which took place at Castle Island in South Boston recently.
