SEAPORT — 1,700 New England Council members and guests from throughout the region gathered at the Omni Boston Hotel at the Seaport for the Council’s 2024 Annual Celebration. DUXBURY — This week’s beautiful weather only added to the success of the Duxbury Council on Aging fundraiser that started with golf at the Duxbury Yacht Club and ended with a raw bar and a live auction at the Duxbury Senior Center.  Duxbury’s own Jim Fagan helped the COA raise several thousand dollars in the live auction. The money raised by the nearly 200 guests in attendance will support the fuel assistance program for seniors this winter.…

COPLEY SQUARE — The Brain Aneurysm Foundation held its 18th annual research grant symposium, which coincided with the Hanover-based organization’s 30th anniversary celebration, at the Fairmont Copley Plaza hotel.
