NORWELL — The Acadmey of The Company Theatre recently presented a production of “Puffs,” a comic retelling of the Harry Potter book series by J. K. Rowling, but from the perspective of the “Puffs.” (The play, which ran Off-Broadway in 2015, is not officially sactioned by Rowling, her publishers or the filmmakers.) By Morgan Hurley HINGHAM — John Hersey, who lives on a street in Hingham named for his ancestors, has set up for a bumper crop of tomatoes this summer — and he already knows where the delicious bounty is headed. Hersey planted the crop with a plan to give the tomatoes to the medical staff at the Dana-Farber’s cancer center in Weymouth, where Hersey said he received treatment. It is his way of thanking them…
