DUXBURY — The Duxbury Senior Center hosted a golf tournament which was followed by a dinner at the Duxbury Yacht Club that was attended by 200 people who enjoyed lobster rolls and a raw bar donated by Duxbury Oysters. The evening capped with an auction emceed by Duxbury’s own Jim Fagan. The money raised will support programs and elder services for Duxbury residents. All photos by Bill Brett

SOUTH BOSTON — More than 300 people were on hand at the M Street Park in South Boston recently to mark the 41st anniversary of the South Boston Vietnam Memorial. DORECHESTER — 150 golfers attended the tournament to support the 11 fund, named after late Boston Bruins player Jimmy Hayes of Dorchester. The golfers playes at the George Wright Golf Course in Hyde Park and held lunch and auction at the John P. McKeon Amvets Post 146. Eire Pub in Dorchester as the host and proceeds were to St. John Paul II Catholic Academy in Dorchester. Jimmy Hayes died in 2021. He was 31. All…

MARSHFIELD — More than 250 guests attended A Celebration of Recovery, the 6th annual Recovery Rocks, to benefit South Shore Peer Recovery, which helps families and clients. The event, which featured music, food trucks and stories of hope, was held at Salt River Farm in Marshfield. More than $150,000 was raised and the event auctioneer was Jim Fagan.
