BOSTON — 500 guests attended the American India Foundation’s 13th annual Bow Ties & Bangles New England gala, which celebrated the foundation’s Maternal and Newborn Survival Initiative. HULL, March 24, 2019 — Hundreds of supporters of Special Olympics Massachusetts jumped into the ocean waters today off Nantasket Beach. Called the “Polar Plunge,” the event had been rescheduled from earlier in the year after bitter cold weather prompted officials from the Massachusetts Department of Conservation and Recreation to have concerns about people being injured during the charity event.
