COPLEY SQUARE — 325 guests attended Hellenic Women’s Club’s 73rd Mistletoe Ball, which was held at the Fairmont Copley Plaza hotel on November 30, 2019. The event, which since 1946 has helped kick off the Boston holiday season, offered dinner and dancing to music by Orfeas and Eye 2 Eye. QUINCY — Quincy’s own Uncle Sam Rounseville used the occasion of his 80th birthday to raise money for the Lions Club, specifically the organization’s effort to work with those who are blind or visually impaired. Uncle Sam’s wife Jean Kenney threw the party at Alba’s restaurant. The couple has been using his birthday as a fundraiser for more than a decade. All photos by Bill Brett
