COHASSET — 250 guests attended the “Sneak Peek: Folk Americana Roots Hall Of Fame” co-presented by the South Shore Art Center & The Boch Center at the 64th annual Arts Festival Preview Celebration, which was held on Thursday, June 13, 2019, at the Art Center in Cohasset.

The general public can attend the 64th annual ARTS Festival this weekend: Saturday, June 15 and Sunday, June 16 (rain or shine) at the South Shore Art Center, Ripley Road, Cohasset.

Thursday evening began with a VIP cocktail hour, with welcoming remarks from Co-chairs: Frank Neer, Wendy Badia, and Mark Tosi that were followed by remarks from Arts Center Executive Director Patrice Maye, musician Chuck McDermott, and Josiah Spaulding, president of the Boch Center. There also was the world premiere of video from the Folk Americana Roots Hall of Fame Archives.

Auctioneer Jim Wells raised some serious money with items that included Dinner for 10 with Cohasset’s own Steve Carrell prepared by Chef Brian Houlihan, and Wahlburger Food Truck for a private party of 50.

And the evening included performances by Chuck McDermott, Kim Moberg, Monica Rizzio, Grace Morrison, and Livingston Taylor.
