WEYMOUTH — Over 250 people came to Webb State Park in Weymouth for the ARC of the South Shore’s Summer Soirée, a fashion show and fundraiser. ARC CEO Elizabeth Sandblom provided the fashion show commentary, which included ARC residents on the runway. Jim Fagan provide the laughs and conducted the live action. The night also paid special tribute to long time ARC of the South Shore supporter Bob Pineau who passed away in 2024.
The event was organized by Chief Strategy Officer Brenda Linden. Local restaurants provided a lavish food tasting. In her closing remarks CEO Elizabeth Sandblom recognized the ARC, which is celebrating its 75th anniversary serving people with intellectual and physical disabilities on the South Shore.
