Quincy Chamber of Commerce holds Hall of Fame dinner

QUINCY — 250 guests attended the Quincy Chamber of Commerce’s annual meeting, which featured a business showcase and in-person networking at Granite Links ballroom. 

The Chamber Hall of Fame inductees were Jay Cashman of Cashman and Doug Briggs of Quincy Mutual. Christa Hagerty, CEO Dependable Cleanerss outgoing chairwoman provided remarks and Chamber President Tim Cahill emceed. Incoming chair Janet Batson, Cicero President Sales for Galvin Companies presented the 4th annual Bruce Wood Grant to Caryn Smith, Caryn’s Corner who will be adding a new mobile shop that was described as a “food truck meets clothing retailer.” Bruce was a former Quincy Chamber Board Member. The grant is given in his name because he exemplified what it means to be a good corporate citizen through his business practices and his commitment to the Quincy Community.
