350 hit the red carpet on Oscar night to benefit the Ellie Fund

BOSTON — More than 350 guests attended the 22nd annual Oscar Night Red Carpet Gala, which was sponsored by WCVB-TV (Channel 5) which aired the Academy Award broadcast. Held at the Fairmont Copley Plaza hotel, the swanky party raised money to benefit the Ellie Fund, which provides support and services to those faced with breast cancer.

WCVB’s Ed Harding, Maria Stephanos, Emily Riemer and Ben Simmoneau served as the evening’s hosts and event emcees. Walmart‘s Chris Buchanan was honored at the event for his support of the Ellie Fund.
