French Cultural Center celebrates Bastille Day with a Marlborough Street block party

BACK BAY — Hundreds of guests, many in costumes or festive dress, attended the French Cultural Center of Boston and Cambridge’s annual Bastille Day block party on Marlborough Street in the Back Bay on Friday, July 13, 2019. A section of Marlborough Street was closed down for the evening celebration, which includes dancing on the city’s street, marks Bastille Day, the national day of France, which is officially celebrated on July 14. The music was provided by the Bon Bon Vivant band.
