Faith Murray, 11, hosts a show on the Talking Information Center for young people

MARSHFIELD — Faith Murray may only be in the fifth grade, but this young star, who goes to school in Hingham, has already created a community that reaches well beyond the South Shore.

Faith, who hosts her own show on the Talking Information Center, was featured in a column by the Boston Globe’s Kevin Cullen. You can read it here.

As luck would have it, Bill Brett’s granddaughter Hadley, who is 8, studied Braille at her school and when she heard that Bill was going to photograph Faith, Hadley make Faith a card wishing her a Happy Thanksgiving that used feathers to mark the turkey so that Faith could feel the artwork. Hadley wrote the note using her teacher’s Braille writing machine.
