Dorchester turns out for groundbreaking for new Adams branch library

DORCHESTER — Scores of area children joined Mayor Marty Walsh and Boston Public Library president David Leonard for the groundbreaking event on July 10, 2019, for the new Adams Street Branch library. The $18.3 million project is expected to open in 2021.

The project, according to Spotted in Dot, is a collaborative development “between the City of Boston’s Public Facilities Department and the Boston Public Library, in partnership with architect Nadaaa and J and J Contractors Inc.”

The Dorchester Reporter has a full story on the plans for the new library that you can read here.
