QUINCY — More than 400 guests attended the Adam Presidential Center’s kickoff fundraising dinner that honored former Massachusetts Governor Charlie Baker and his wife, Lauren, for their distinguished service to the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. SOUTH BOSTON — More than 200 guests attended the Matt Brown Foundation fundraiser, which was held at the Castle Island Brewery in South Boston. Matt started the foundation after he suffered a spinal cord injury when he was 15 years old while playing in a hockey game for Norwood against Weymouth. Matt later attended Stonehill College. The event was hosted by Foundation President Denella Clark and the honored guests were 2023 Champions: Boston Mayor Michelle Wu and former mayor Kim Janey.
