HULL — While out for a walk on Saturday, Bill took these images of a some people out on the water off of Nantasket Beach. The water is still pretty warm (compared to the dropping air temperature of late) in the area. And by that, we don’t mean you’d catch us out there, even with wetsuits. ALL PHOTOS BY BILL BRETT
MARSHFIELD — 500 guests attended a (modified) Corey Fest, which raised more than $800,000 for the Corey C. Griffin Foundation to support youth and service charities. To keep within state Covid-19 guidelines and to ensure safety of guests, Corey Fest was held at the Marshfield Drive-In with event goers staying in their cars. Bill Brett caught up with members of the Boston Symphony Orchestra as they toured Boston in a Duck Boat to give some “pop-up” concerts on Thursday. Seven musicians played the impromptu concerts at four locations including Copley Square, Roxbury, and Jamaica Plain. The Boston Globe’s Jeremy Eichler has a full story, which you can read here.
