MARSHFIELD — A sold-out crowd of 300 guests attended South Shore Peer Recovery’s third annual “Recovery Rocks” fundraiser that was held at Salt River Farm on Thursday night in Marshfield. The Scituate-based South Shore Peer Recovery had a full night of events that included music by Border Road, the band Neighbors, and Lisa Jason. The night raised close to $200,000. DORCHESTER — Hundreds of well-wishers and mourners lined the streets of Dorchester near St. Ann’s church in Neponset for a touching farewell to Jimmy Hayes, a local native and former pro hockey player who died unexpectedly recently. BOSTON — Family and friends turned out to celebrate Carol and Ed Celeta’s 60th wedding anniversary at a party at the Boston Harbor Hotel.
