COPLEY SQUARE — More than 300 guests attended the Boys & Girls Clubs of Boston’s annual gala, which this year had a Disco theme. The event, held on November 16 at the Fairmont Copley Plaza hotel, raised more than $450,000 to support the clubs’ programs.

The 32nd annual “Grand Drawing” gala got a boost when Boston Mayor Marty Walsh stepped up to serve as the celebrity auctioneer. The night’s emcee was WBZ morning anchor Kate Merrill.
