More than 350 guests attended the St. John Paul II Catholic Academy’s Jack and Eileen Connors Award reception that was held at the Boston College Club in Boston on May 16, 2018. The reception raised $350,000. The recipients of this year’s award are Kathleen and Kevin Driscoll. Joining Jack and Eileen Connors in celebrating the Driscolls were Cardinal Sean O’Malley, Putnam Investments CEO Robert Reynolds and his wife, Laura. All photos by Bill Brett

SOUTH BOSTON — 450 people attended the Boston Key Gala, the annual fundraising event that raised more than $950,000 for the AstraZeneca Hope Lodge in Boston. The American Cancer Society’s Hope Lodge provides free housing for patients undergoing their treatment at a Boston Hospital. The gala was held at the Raymond L. Flynn Black Falcon Cruise Terminal and raised more than $950,000 for the Lodge and its programs for patients. All photos by Bill Brett

BOSTON — More than 500 guests attended the annual Hot Pink Party, which raised $1.7 million for the the Breast Cancer Research Foundation. This year’s gala was held at the InterContinental Boston hotel and featured a performance at the disco-themed event by Nile Rodgers, the famed guitarist who has worked with Madonna, David Bowie, Daft Punk, Pharrell and others.
