BOSTON — 150 guests gathered to watch ABC’s “Shark Tank” with Brookline resident Alice Rossiter, who appeared on the show to pitch her business, Alice’s Table, which helps women start their own businesses.

The viewing party was held at Pastoral-Artisan Pizza, Kitchen & Bar on Congress Street in Boston. The popular eatery is owned by Rossiter’s father-in-law, George Lewis.

After presenting her business plan, Rossiter was peppered with questions by the residents sharks, including getting an offer from Boston resident Kevin O’Leary. Rossiter, showing a bit of her own shark tendencies, ultimately went with a joint offer (that included a plan for growth) made by Dallas Mavericks owner Mark Cuban and Spanx created Sara Blakely.
