SOUTH BOSTON — Mayor Marty Walsh hosted the 12th annual We Are Boston gala, which recognizes the contributions and achievements of the city’s immigrant and refugee residents.
Red Sox Hall of Fame pitcher Pedro Martinez was recognized at this year’s event, which shone a spotlight on the Caribbean. The event, which was held at the Westin Waterfront hotel on Nov. 30, emcee was Maria Stephanos.
