QUINCY — 400 guests gathered at the Granite Links Golf Club in Quincy for the St. Rock Haiti Foundation’s efforts.

Father Peter Casey, who has served in parishes on the South Shore and throughout the diocese, was selected by the Saint Rock Haiti Foundation Board and the Bresnahan family as the recipient of this year’s Dr. Stephen Bresnahan Award. This award is given annually in honor of the late physician to individuals who demonstrate commitment and dedication to ensuring “that every person in Saint Rock Haiti and surrounding communities can thrive in all aspects of life.”

Jocelyn Bresnahan, the Foundation’s president and CEO, said that Father Casey received the award because of his “unwavering dedication and service to the people of Saint Rock.”
