Boston’s Police Athletic League holds annual golf tourney

QUINCY — 150 golfers took to the links of Wollaston Country Club the other day to raise money for Boston’s Police Athletic League’s programs. Joining that golfers at the clubhouse celebration were Boston Mayor Marty Walsh, former Red Sox slugger Sam Horn, and Boston Police Commissioner Willie Gross, whose hat was auctioned off for $700. Baker extraordinaire George Montilio bought Gross’ hat in the auction run by Jim Fagan.
