BOSTON — More than 700 young professionals from the Boston area attended the 7th annual Toast to St. Jude event, which was presented by The Raymond and Elaclaire Gosselin Foundation on Saturday, April 27th, at the Revere Hotel.
The evening of cocktails, dancing and fundraising benefits St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, a leader in treating childhood cancer and other life-threatening diseases.
This year’s event raised $226,000 putting the cumulative total since the inaugural Toast to St. Jude to a total of $604,000. Thanks to events like this one, families never receive a bill from St. Jude for treatment, travel, housing or food – because all a family should worry about is helping their child live.
“We are blown away by the success of this year’s event. It’s amazing how our event committee and networks have grown in the past seven years, allowing us to share the mission of St. Jude with even more attendees,” said co-chair Samantha Curtin. “We are grateful to our sponsors and donors for making this a record-breaking year.”
This year’s event was hosted by Colton Bradford from 101.7 The Bull. In addition to The Raymond and Elaclaire Gosselin Foundation, other sponsors included Definitive Healthcare, Longwood Group, NGKF, Prellwitz Chilinski Associates, AKF Group LLC, Brookline Bank, Goulston & Storrs, Jessica’s Brick Oven, Nutter McClennen & Fish, Waters Company, RSM, CE Floyd, Dean College, Greystar, Horvath and Tremblay, IUOE Local #877, People’s United Bank, and The Duke Company.
